Best Pictures of Chicago Blackhawks’ 2013 Stanley Cup Championship Parade
Chicago Blackhawks Parade Pictures
To put it lightly, the parade that celebrated the Chicago Blackhawks winning the Stanley Cup was absolutely epic. In fact, it was even more epic than the team's two goals in 17 seconds to shock the Boston Bruins in Game 6 of the 2013 NHL Finals for their fifth title, and we've got the pictures to prove it.
Remember when the Baltimore Ravens took a shot at the Miami Heat, claiming their Super Bowl championship parade was better than South Beach's NBA championship parade and it backfired? Well, it's safe to say the Blackhawks topped both of them, the San Francisco Giants' parade last November and the parade that will be put on by whatever team wins the 2013 World Series. Seriously, the word epic doesn't even begin to describe.
There were people in the streets of Chicago at 3:00 a.m. jockeying for the best positions to see the players come by on the tour buses, but Rant Sports staff photographer Lisa Rundell got the best spot in the house and snapped some great pictures of the players, the fans and the party. Of course, we're also sharing the love from our partners over at USA Today Sports, so you get shots from all over! Even if you're not a Blackhawks fans, you can appreciate this. Enjoy!
