The Sabres may very well have the most interesting offseason scenario out of all of the NHL's teams this year. With plenty of money to spend, Buffalo just has to worry about if these five players would even consider signing. With needs at every position, the Sabres will have plenty to choose from. 5. At 26 years old, he would bring plenty of talent at a cheap cost. This past season, Franson finished second in the NHL for hits and had 33 points. 4. Michael Frolik, RFA Getty Images 4. In 81 games this past season, he had 15 goals and 27 assists. 3. Matt Moulson, UFA Getty Images 3. LW-Matt Moulson UFA Getty Images Moulson is the perfect fit for the Sabres. This season, he had 23 goals, the first season in which he didn't score at least 30. But at just 30 years old, he still has plenty to bring to the table. His leadership skills would be a plus as well. He has played on playoff teams each of the last two seasons. With big-name talent, Buffalo might be able to get a bargain. 2.
