5 Players the Los Angeles Kings Should Trade Right Now By Jeff Henning PREV NEXT 5 Players the Los Angeles Kings Should Trade Right Now Getty Images Although the Los Angeles Kings are in the thick of a playoff race, there are certain players who have been underperforming to start the 2015-16 season or have been on the decline for a number of seasons. If the Kings do begin to falter and fall out of playoff contention, here are five players they should consider moving. 5. Jhonas Enroth Getty Images 5. Jhonas Enroth Getty Images Jhonas Enroth has played extremely well in his relatively small sample size for the Kings this season. In three games played he’s collected three wins and one shutout. Enroth cracks this list because if his performance continues, his trade value may not exceed the level that it’s reached at this point. 4. Christian Ehrhoff Getty Images 4. Christian Ehrhoff Getty Images If the Kings weren’t hurting for extra bodies on the blueline, Ehrhoff may already be the odd man out. With just five points in 15 contests and a minus-7 plus/minus rating, Ehrhoff has not been able to produce in the way the Kings had hoped. Although one wonders what the Kings could even get in return for the aging defenseman, if they wanted to dump him, at least one team would be interested. 3. Jordan Nolan Getty Images 3. Jordan Nolan Getty Images Jordan Nolan has been an effective bottom-six player for the Kings, but eventually teams need to cut ties with players whose performances have soured. Perhaps his affordable contract will keep him around, or maybe it’s because he is quite familiar with the Kings' system. Whatever it is, his offensive production is not a reason for keeping him in L.A. 2. Marian Gaborik Getty Images 2. Marian Gaborik Getty Images Another player whose best days are behind him, it’s time for the Marian Gaborik marriage to finally come to an end. Gaborik had a productive 2014-15 season with 47 points, but he’s gotten off to an ugly start in the 2015-16 season. In 17 games played, Gaborik has only two goals and two assists, while also registering a minus-5. 1. Dustin Brown Getty Images 1. Dustin Brown Getty Images This may be the toughest pill to swallow for Kings fans, or fans of Dustin Brown in general. Brown has been on full decline since the 2013-14 season when he failed to score at least 28 points for the first time since 2005-06. However, Brown wears the "C" and it would be a bizarre move for a Stanley Cup contender to ship out their captain mid-season. But if the Kings falter at all this year, the team may decide to finally move on from Brown.
