The Ottawa Senators defeated the New York Rangers on Tuesday night by a score of 4-2 and will now move on to the Eastern Conference Finals to face the winners of Game 7 between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Washington Capitals.
After the victory, Senators fans poured into the streets of Ottawa to celebrate the victory.
In true Canadian way, the fans would only celebrate in the streets when the traffic lights were red and then moved to the sidewalk when the lights turn green.
This the most Canadian thing ever: Sens fans partying in the street, but only when the light turns red. Back to the sidewalk on green. pic.twitter.com/rXDykia3BN
