What a weird way to start the 2017 Stanley Cup Finals.
The Pittsburgh Penguins mounted a 3-0 lead after 20 minutes of play and then failed to register a shot on goal for nearly two full periods – 37:09 of game time.
And then Jake Guentzel came to the rescue.
Puck is roofed. @penguins fans blow the roof off the building. #StanleyCup
This roofed puck broke a 3-3 tie and incredibly was Guentzel’s 10th goal of the playoffs – and his fourth game-winner!
10 goals. Four game-winners. Lots of fun for @jakenbake20. #StanleyCup

Nashville Predators goaltender Pekka Rinne, who had been the top netminder in the NHL throughout the postseason to this point, allowed an uncharacteristic five goals on just 12 shots as Pittsburgh prevailed 5-3.
If the Preds fail to get some better puck luck moving forward, this may be a quick series.
