Florida Panthers advanced to the Stanley Cup Final for the second straight season, a first in team history.
If in the past year, an exit to the final series of the playoffs from them could be perceived as no more than just a great surprise, now they show a high level of play from the very beginning of the championship.
In the playoffs, they won only 4:1 and 4:2 against Tampa Bay and Boston. They slightly struggled in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Edmonton has not been to the Stanley Cup Final since they reached Game 7 in 2005-06.
Blue and Orange were terrible in the current championship season. Jay Woodcroft was even fired, but his replacement, Chris Nobloch, has got the guys back together and playing on a different level. They have become more disciplined and more reliable defensively.
