Manny Ramirez today has his first official day of Spring Training with the Oakland Athletics and he’s already making headlines. CSN Bay Area writer Rael Enteen’s article found at this link describes how “Ramirez mistook A’s starting pitcher Brett Anderson for the team’s video coordinator.”
Even better though was that Enteen included Anderson’s tweet in regards to Ramirez’s mistake and the response from Anderson was classic:
For those wondering according to Baseball-Reference.com Ramirez does not have an at-bat against Anderson. If there’s anything to be taken from Ramirez’s first day is that Spring Training should be entertaining.
