Mokaev: Tsarukyan Will Boost Both His Mental And Physical Shape For Rematch With Makhachev

UFC flyweight fighter Muhammad Mokaev commented on the rematch between Islam Makhachev and Arman Tsarukyan in an exclusive interview with RantSports.

Muhammad Mokaev exclusively for RantSports:

I don’t know if the result of the Makhachev vs. Tsarukyan rematch will be different from what we saw the first time. But in 2019, Arman stepped in on short notice for his debut fight. He faced Islam when he was only 22 years old. It makes a big difference in the lightweight division. Of course, Tsarukyan will boost both his mental and physical shape for the fight. But Islam’s level is higher. I think his opponents have been tougher than Arman’s.

The first fight between Islam Makhachev and Arman Tsarukyan took place on April 20, 2019, at UFC Fight Night 149. Makhachev won that fight by unanimous decision. Currently, the UFC champion has 25 wins and one loss on his record. Tsarukyan has 22 victories and three losses on his record.
