Colorado Student Section Represented at Pac-12 Tournament
Colorado athletic director Mike Bohn recognized the support that the students were giving the Buffs at the Coors Events Center this season so he decided to take that on the road. The athletic department paid the way for 50 members of the C-Unit to attend the Pac-12 Basketball Tournament in Los Angeles this weekend and now it’s paying off for the men’s basketball team.
Tad Boyle and the rest of the Buffs have advanced to the semi-finals tonight against the Cal Bears and have been buoyed by the rambunctious CU student section. With how empty the rest of the Staples Center is, the C-Unit has been able to make their mark and practically dominate the arena.
The C-Unit has been named as one of the eight finalists for the Naismith Student Section of the Year Award and has been widely recognized by the CU community.
Well, now the rest of the country has been able to see a piece of the C-Unit and plenty of praise has been thrown their way, especially on Twitter as the rest of the Buff Nation looks on:
