One of the things that I love the most about the 2011 Philadelphia Eagles is the intelligence of our players. They really seem to have a knack for always saying the right things at the right time.
Vince Young’s Dream Team remark? Remarkable! It set a fire under the whole team, especially Danny Watkins.
Ronnie Brown’s explanation of his failed lateral? Makes perfect sense to me!
DeSean Jackson’s comment on oversleeping? You can’t help but feel sorry for the guy, who’s making just $600,000 this season. After all, the price of survival is only going up, up, up.
Now there’s a new comment to add to the list.
Eagles’ defensive tackle Trevor Laws stated that after watching film of the Seattle Seahawks, he thinks the Eagles “should blow these guys out.”
What a brilliant comment! I wouldn’t be surprised if Seattle head coach Pete Carroll called the league and officially forfeited on behalf of the Seattle Seahawks.
After all, who wants to face the Philadelphia Eagles in December? I originally had my doubts about traveling into Qwest Field but I now know that the Eagles won’t let me down.
There’s nothing like a little bit of intimidation to scare the Seahawks, who now have three full days to think about Laws’ comment.
And does this man with his hair stuck in his helmet really look like anyone you’d want to mess with? I didn’t think so.
Prediction: Behind four sacks, three forced fumbles, and 12 tackles from backup defensive tackle Trevor Laws, the Eagles blow out the Seattle Seahawks 57-0 and establish themselves as the “team to beat” in the NFC.
Watch out, Green Bay Packers! We’re coming for ya!

The Seahawks have been in every game this year except the Pittsburg game. I wouldn’t take us too lightly. Just ask the New York Giants or Baltimore Ravens. We ran it down the Ravens “famed defence” throat with 6 minutes left in the game and they couldn’t stop us. Plus Marshawn Lynch made Ray Lewis look silly trying to tackle him. Oh yea, were going to be an “easy win”. You’ll See!
