Flyers Jaromir Jagr Salutes Pittsburgh Penguins Fan Giving Him the Finger
Last night the Philadelphia Flyers beat their rivals the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-2 to move into a tie for first place with the New York Rangers. The biggest buzz from Flyers fans is about Jaromir Jagr and his salute to the Penguin fans.
Jagr after scoring his 12th goal of the year found the perfect group in Pittsburgh to give his patented salute to, a group of Penguins fans which included a woman sticking out her tongue and a guy in a blue Sidney Crosby jersey. Have to say the guy in the Crosby jersey looks especially angry, not sure if it has to do with the fact that he chose to buy that hideous baby blue jersey.
There are some more great reactions in the photo as well. For example, the guy to the right of the man giving the finger, is he shocked about the guy giving Jagr the finger or Jagr saluting them; either way his face is hilarious. The woman sticking out her tongue is just too easy, so we will skip her.
Finally, the best reaction is the man in the top right corner with the beer in his hand. He is wearing a James Neal jersey……didn’t even know people bought them. He looks like he is pumped up for the Jagr goal, is he aware that Jagr hasn’t played for Pittsburgh in 10 years?
Anyway, my question to Penguins fans is why are you still mad? He hasn’t played there since the end of 2000-2001 season, so why the hatred? I know, I know he didn’t sign with you guys as a free agent, but get over it, it happens all the time. Also, I know that he said he owes his hockey life to Marion Lemieux, but again get over it.
