The Penguins are in Detroit today as they’ll take on the Red Wings at 5:00 PM ET in the final game of the 2011 preseason.

A win today would give the Penguins their first 6-0 preseason in franchise history, and just the team’s second undefeated preseason overall. They finished 4-0-1 in 2008-09 before capturing the team’s third Stanley Cup.

Evgeni Malkin will not play, but most of the team’s expected NHL roster will. Here’s Pittsburgh’s lineup:

Forward: Jordan Staal, Tyler Kennedy, Chris Kunitz, James Neal, Matt Cooke, Steve Sullivan, Pascal Dupuis, Mark Letestu, Craig Adams, Arron Asham, Joe Vitale, Richard Park

Defense: Zbynek Michalek, Paul Martin, Kris Letang, Matt Niskanen, Brian Strait, Ben Lovejoy

Marc-Andre Fleury will start in goal and is slated to play the entire game.

Neither Pavel Datsyuk nor Henrik Zetterberg will play for Detroit, though we’ll see team captain Nick Lidstrom and goaltender Jimmy Howard.

The game will be televised on PCNC in Pittsburgh.
