Pittsburgh Pirates Concert Series Announced

To coincide with their surely mediocre 2012 season, the Pittsburgh Pirates have lined up some surely mediocre bands to attract another fan or two to the ballpark this season.

From Bill Brink at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette:

The Pirates announced the rest of their summer concert series today.

Boyz II Men will perform Saturday, June 9, after the Pirates play the Royals at 7:15 p.m.

Daughtry will perform Saturday, July 7, after the Giants game at 4:05 p.m.

Styx will play following a game against the Padres at 7:05 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11.

Lifehouse will perform Saturday, Sept. 29, after a Reds game at 7:05.

At least we don’t have to see Nickelback?
