TNA Impact has it’s Good Points
So let’s be honest, the WWE is far and away a superior product but there parts of TNA that fill needs that the WWE can’t.
First the tag team division. For some reason the WWE has totally abandoned the tag team division. They just throw together tag teams or bury the ones that actually make sense. The fact that the WWE pushed Santino and Koslov and killed the Usos, who look and wrestle like a real tag team is exactly why the WWE is struggling. TNA has done a great job of keeping that division alive and well. To be honest the level of wrestling is not so hot but they have tag teams like Beer Money and Mexican America, who are not only look like tag teams but also wrestle like a team. The WWE hasn’t had a good and believable tag team since The Hardys, Edge and Christian and The Dudley Boyz. It’s a shame the WWE doesn’t put more effort into their tag teams.
The other issue I have with the WWE is the lack of the cruiser weight division. TNA has obviously taken advantage of that and taken some of the WWE’s better, light weight, talent. Brian Kendrick was and is a very big talent that the WWE just couldn’t figure out how to use without a cruiser weight division. I love what TNA has done with it’s X division. It’s exciting and so much fun to watch. The WWE really shot itself in the foot by eliminating the smaller wrestlers. Evan Bourne would have a much bigger role with the company if there were a cruiser belt for him to wrestle for. I really feel like TNA would not exist if it wasn’t for it’s X division. Why the WWE has not tried to compete with a similar division is beyond me.
The WWE has way more talent when it comes to almost everything over TNA but when it comes to tag teams and cruiser weights I will continue to tune in Thursday nights and watch the two things that TNA can offer to fill my wrestling needs. Now if they would only get rid of their boring old wrestlers and push the rest of their young talent they might actually give the WWE a run for their money.
