Brock Lesnar is back in the WWE, which means there needs to be some ring gear for him. Thanks to WWE.com, we have a look at what that ring gear entails. It is very MMA like and fits into what he has been doing so far since he has returned to the company. It might even help drag some MMA fans over, but that is yet to be determined.
Lesnar’s first match will be at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view, where he will take on John Cena. He has attacked Cena each of the last two weeks, including giving Cena a bloody mouth last Monday. I expect Lesnar to roll through Cena, since it is planned for him to win the WWE Championship at some point down the road. This would set up a match at Wrestlemania 29 with The Rock.
I’m kind of digging the sponsorship. Beneficial move for both the WWE and Jimmy Johns. Maybe the free exposure will give the company some good publicity. Sponsorship can only help and the WWE is certainly always looking to make more money.
I will be shocked if Lesnar appears on Raw this week. The company is on their European tour and I doubt that they are that committed to have Lesnar show up every week. This will be a week off for him and then the feud with Cena will reignite when they are back stateside. I am not expecting a great match, but it should be passable. There is legit animosity between the two, so it should be an exciting bout.
