Fake wrestling isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. It’s a niche ‘sport’ and usually something most fans have been watching since childhood. Random people in their 30s don’t typically start watching, just because.
It’s with that in mind, that this hilarious story has come to light. An audio clip has surfaced on the internet, which features a prank call from a radio station. The back story is that a man was denied by his wife when he wanted to order a WWE PPV in 2012. To get revenge, the man enlisted the help of a couple local radio personalities.
Here’s how to quickly get in your wife’s doghouse:
I don’t know about you, but I was literally laughing out loud the first time I heard this clip. To call that woman upset, would certainly be putting it lightly.
The best part is that none of the information was accurate. There is no ‘Super Slam’ pay-per-view, there is no such thing as a shoots and ladders match. Then on top of everything else, John Cena‘s music was just blaring throughout the whole clip.
My second favorite part was the change of pace call, where she was asked about military support. You’d think that she would have just put two-and-two together, but her anger was clearly hindering her ability to think clearly.
There’s no word if the husband responsible for the prank is still alive. If he is, it’s probably safe to assume he slept on the couch for an extended period of time following the phone call. I think I speak for many when I say, it was totally worth it.
