It’s been a month now since the Royal Rumble concluded, and the WWE is still not listening to the fans concerning their plea to put Daniel Bryan in the main event of WrestleMania XXX.
Michael Cole recently interviewed Triple H on why he continues to avoid Bryan’s demand to face him at WrestleMania XXX. Triple H says that Bryan is not an A-plus player and is not worthy of facing him at the biggest event of the year. Cole pressured him and said that all the fans want to see Bryan taking on Triple H at WrestleMania XXX.
The interview itself was done for storyline purposes, but Cole’s assumption that fans want to see Bryan facing Triple H is insulting. A lot of fans don’t want to see that match and would rather see him face Batista and Randy Orton for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. This just proves that the WWE is manipulating its fans by forcing them to accept Bryan vs. Triple H.
This is a bullish move for the WWE, and a lot of fans feel like they are still not listening to them. Not to mention, the main event still has two heels. It looks like WWE is going through with Orton vs. Batista, even though a lot of fans don’t want to see that match at all. CM Punk looks like has left the company for good, so he cannot be inserted into the match either.
It will be very interesting to see how the crowds will react from now until WrestleMania XXX. Will they speak up and tell the WWE that Bryan needs to be in the main event instead of just facing Triple H?
