NXT Takeover: R Evolution lived up to the hype, as it delivered one of the best wrestling shows of 2014. With so many tremendous performances, nearly all of the roster is on the rise. Here are five competitors whose stock is trending up after NXT Takeover: R Evolution

Adrian Neville lost his championship, but he put on another thrilling match in the process. His reign as NXT Champion lasted nearly 300 days, and he will go down as one of the best competitors in the history of the organization. Furthermore, he should be in line for a promotion to the main roster sooner rather than later.

The daughter of the Nature Boy continues to show that she’s a natural in the ring, as Charlotte put on an incredible performance in successfully defending her NXT Women’s Championship. By knocking off the talented Sasha Banks, Charlotte solidified her spot as a future player in the WWE divas division.

Finn Balor has been impressive since his debut in NXT several weeks ago, but he raised the stakes at Takeover: R Evolution when he debuted his fearsome war paint. Although his appearance and entrance could’ve stolen the show alone, Balor proceeded to exhibit another impressive display of his talent in the ring, teaming with Hideo Itami to knock off The Ascension.

Very few individuals in the history of the wrestling industry had a more impactful debut than Kevin Owens, as he impressed in his victory over CJ Parker, and then shocked the wrestling world at the conclusion of the show. Owens accomplished that feat by turning on his long-time friend Sami Zayn, slamming Zayn to the ramp and then powerbombing him off the ring apron. Owens could immediately become the top title contender.

Despite the rough ending to his night, Sami Zayn still achieved the biggest moment of his professional career, as he finally won the big one and captured the NXT Championship. Zayn’s hard work and perseverance was finally paid off in an incredible bout, and Zayn being congratulated by the NXT locker room after his victory was truly one of the top moments in wrestling this year.
