NFL player marries girlfriend after punching her

Miami Dolphins WR Brandon Marshall recently got married to his girlfriend Michi Nogami in Miami. You’ll remember that back in March, Brandon and Michi were both arrested for fighting in Atlanta and witnesses told police that they saw Marshall punching the Michi in the face.
Police dropped the charges because prosecutors believed they wouldn’t have enough evidence to convict Marshall. To complicate matters, Marshall and Nogami had quickly gotten married before a justice of the peace at the local city hall.
At the time of the quickie wedding, Marshall promised Nogami that he would provide her with a dream wedding later in the future. Well, the dream wedding became a reality, you can see some of the pictures right here.
So let me see if I have this right. He punches her in the face and THEN the happy couple shuffles off to City Hall to get a quickie marriage to help to avoid criminal charges. The bride’s reward for going along with the plan is a lavish ceremony. Boy if this doesn’t sound like the basis of a very strong and lasting relationship, I don’t know what does. I give this 8 months and the couple will be in divorce court.
