With Adrian Peterson out, the Vikings will go with Toby Gerhart as their starter at running back. While Gerhart will receive plenty of opportunities for carries, it's difficult to determine what type of numbers the second-year back will produce. The Falcons rank second in the NFL by allowing just 85.4 rushing yards per game, so if Gerhart has any chance of having a big game on Sunday--it certainly won't be easy. Then again, this is a player with very little NFL experience (440 rushing yards and one touchdown)--so it's difficult to figure out what to expect from Gerhart.
