Report: Patriots and Rams to Square Off in London During 2012 Season
Look out football fans in London–it appears the St. Louis Rams and New England Patriots are coming to town next October.
According to Gregg Rosenthal of ProFootballTalk.com, the Rams and Patriots will square off in London at Wembley Stadium on October 28–with St. Louis being the home team. In fact, the Rams will be playing in London for the next three seasons–which has brought speculation about whether or not they could be a strong candidate for a team expected to move over the next few years.
St. Louis has seen its name thrown in the mix of one team that could possibly be on the move in the future–whether it’s Los Angeles or even London. Either way, this may not be the best matchup for London considering the Rams won just two games all of last season, but at least NFL fans will get to see one of the most high-powered offenses in the Patriots.
