Tim Tebow Working on Throwing Motion With UCLA OC
Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow has been working on his heavily scrutinized throwing motion with UCLA’s new offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone. Mazzone and his son Taylor have been working with Tebow twice a day for a couple of hours since last weekend.
The main things that they are working on with Tebow is his efficiency with his motion and his footwork. This isn’t the first time that Mazzone has coached Tebow. The two worked together when he was coming out of storied Florida career and entering the draft in 2010. Their improvements in that short amount of time landed Tebow with a first-round selection to the Broncos. Mazzone and Tim also worked together last offseason.
NFL teams are limited in the amount of practice time they can have with their players during the offseason but there is no rules regarding practice with a non-affiliated coach. Mazzone said that the Broncos know the work he is doing with Tebow and that he has regular communication with Broncos QB coach Adam Gase. He also said that he didn’t want to do anything against the Broncos’ wishes hence the continued communication between himself and the Broncos.
We’ve all heard how Tebow has a strong work ethic and it doesn’t surprise me to hear that he is already trying to get better just two weeks after the Super Bowl, which marks the end of the NFL season. Later on this offseason expect to hear news or see video of Broncos VP of Football Operations and hall of famer John Elway working with Tebow as well.
