Free Agent Leroy Hill Arrested For Marijuana Possession
Free agent linebacker Leroy Hill was arrested in Atlanta on Saturday for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.
According to a statement from Atlanta police, Hill was arrested after officers were called to an Atlanta condominium for a complaint about a marijuana smell. Officers say they confirmed the smell, obtained a search warrant and later found partially smoked blunts and marijuana residue inside.
Hill has spent his entire NFL career with the Seattle Seahawks.
The Seahawks said they were in the process of gathering information and would not be commenting at this time.
Hill has a past of off-field issues. He was previously arrested in January 2009 on a marijuana-possession charge in Georgia and was given 12 months of probation. He was also arrested on a domestic violence charge in a Seattle suburb in April 2010.
This guy seems to have an affinity to pot. Before a team shows interest, they may want to find out what happened and if he has learned his lesson.
