Nothing like a little late Sunday night NFL news.  Vic Lombardi is stating that the Denver Broncos are very confident that free agent quarterback Peyton Manning will be playing in the Mile High city next season.  Why do Lombardi and his sources seem so confident?

The fact that Manning reached out to the Broncos late at night while in the process of meeting with other teams speaks volumes.  Like I said earlier, Manning instantly makes the Broncos contenders.  They’ll move quickly to ship out Tim Tebow for picks and try to add some weapons around Manning.  Reggie Wayne is available and so is Dallas Clark.  Would they take discounts to come to Denver?   Who knows.
