Tim Tebow Changing His Dog’s Name From Bronco To Bronx; Proves There Is Nothing Going On In Sports
Tim Tebow of the New York Jets is really trying to fit in with his new city. Tebow has a dog, who he named Bronco. It makes sense because he played for the Denver Broncos. Now that Tebow is a member of the Jets, the name Bronco doesn’t make sense. No matter, because Tebow is changing his dog’s name to Bronx.
I am not 100 percent sure on how this counts as news, but whatever. There will be a segment of people that devour this news like it is life changing. I mean, it is a smart move. You can’t have your dog’s name not make sense. Then again, it might be difficult for Bronco/Bronx to adjust. Tebow is going to be calling him Bronx and he will have no clue what is going on.
I am as guilty of this as the next guy, but I think we obsess over Tim Tebow too much. I mean, he is newsworthy but it is not exactly earth shattering that the guy is changing his dog’s name. Now if he was reworking his throwing motion or saving babies from King Kong, that would be a great story. This seems like a stretch but hey. I am not biased against dogs or their owners.
I am sure Bronx will be a new star in New York. Everyone loves dogs. The New York media might try to start a doggie scandal, but if he’s like Tebow, he will be fine.
