It's finally upon us. The Champions League Final 2013 is here, and it's an all German affair. After a tournament which I found to be one of the most enjoyable in years, we're finally here.
What a great venue to host such an occasion too, Wembley Stadium. Just two years after it saw Barcelona overcome Manchester United, we're back in London after UEFA failed to resist an alternative option.
From Twitter I have realized that there are plenty of German supporters of both Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich that enjoy reading English pieces and interacting with the English supporters. So, I decided I'd give them a few interesting and insightful factors to remember if they're heading towards the famous stadium on Saturday night.
I've been to Wembley on various occasions with both England and club sides. I can tell you now that it really is a great place, although it does lack certain traditions that we expect. But overall, it's a perfect build for a modern day stadium, and it certainly meets all the required comforts.
The game itself will hopefully be a classic and stay away from some of the more tepid finals of recent years. Both Dortmund and Bayern are looking incredibly strong as teams, and it seems the English public have taken a fondness to not just the Bundesliga, but some of the values that have faded away in the English game.
After being reopened in 2007, only one German side has played at the 'New' Wembley, that being the German national team. So with the German domination of London arriving, here are eight factors in a quick low-down on some stuff to take into account.

If you want a souvenir program from the game, you're going to have to fork out £10 from your pocket. It's become an unfortunate theme that Wembley charges so much for their programs, but this must be the highest yet. From previous experiences, however, they tend to include a lot of detail.
Wembley tends to have some of the best food you can get in football stadiums. That's especially true if you're lucky enough to be in the Club Wembley level, which is a bit more classy. But even so, the food is very good throughout. However, again you will have to spend a bit more than you would have liked to!
Wembley does make a lot out of England's past, sadly for the German travelers. Each bar is named after a specific moment in Wembley's history. The 1966 one, for example, is likely to possibly wind up the German fans. However, I do believe that there is one marking the Euro '96 success.
To be honest, I'm almost certain the majority of German fans will already know this after the 1996 Euro success. At Wembley the trophy is lifted from the Royal Box, above the tunnel. It's a rather momentous occasion, and who ever comes out on top on Saturday will go down in the history books for winning Wembley's all German Champions League Final.
Also, it will be the first time a German side has lost at Wembley in 38 years.
Either way, enjoy it - Wembley is stunning and I'm sure both Dortmund and Bayern will put on a great show.
