Christian Eriksen‘s input into Tottenham‘s fabulous performance against Norwich City was very impressive, and it’s already becoming clear that he is vital for the team’s creativity.
Due to the Dane being in his last year of his contract at Ajax, Tottenham were able to snap him up for a bargain price of £11 million, a small fee compared to some of the club’s other signings.
He didn’t miss a beat in his debut. Picking up the ball in advanced areas, he opened up the Canaries on multiple occasions with his accurate passing, slick movement and unshakable patience.
Eriksen was heavily involved in both goals in the 2-0 win. Tottenham have made a sound start to the season, with the one clot on the record when they lost 1-0 to Arsenal at the Emirates.
Along with Tottenham and Arsenal, Liverpool looked to have added a new dimension to the situation, and it promises to be a hard battle for a top four spot.
