Tottenham have had only one loss to their name thus far into the Premier League season, and it arrived at the Emirates against Arsenal. Now, they will be hosting Chelsea at their own White Hart Lane. Being at home should give them a significant advantage.
This is a game that the whites can definitely win in front of their home fans as the visitors have struggled to find their offensive stride under new coach Jose Mourinho. If this is the game where they decide to breakout by scoring three or four goals, Spurs would then be in slight trouble.
One interesting aspect of this match is that there will be four Brazilian internationals that are expected to be in the starting 11: Paulinho (Spurs), David Luiz, Oscar and Ramires all for Chelsea. There will be no friendships or respect in this game as it is one of London’s most prestigious derbies.
Coach Andre Villas-Boas will be coaching against his teacher from years ago for the first time in tomorrow match. He will have the chance to defeat him for the first time, and it will be a bit about bragging rights if he does manage to grab all three points.
There is no more Gareth Bale, but there is a bunch of new talent that is hungry to drive this Spurs team to immediate success. With players like Erik Lamela and Christian Eriksen leading the attack-minded charge from the midfield, the Blues may have trouble containing this youthful and hungry team.
