Roma were the big losers of the week, and this resulted in them giving away three spots. Roma will be in need of an impressive result if they are to stay in the rankings next week.

Over the weekend, PSG clinched the Ligue 1 title and are looking forward to their midweek matchup against Leverkusen. A win against the German squad will be PSG's only chance to move up in our rankings.

Chelsea were the big movers of the week after an extremely impressive result against a highly regarded Tottenham Hotspurs squad. Under Jose Mourinho, Chelsea are on a tear as of late and look to be coming into their own. Expect to see Chelsea rise even further if they continue to play the brand of football they are currently playing.

Atletico Madrid moved into sole possession of second place in La Liga with a 2-0 win against Celta Vigo and a Barcelona loss.

It is amazing that Manchester City did not learn their lesson last year when it came to playing Cup matches again Wigan. City went down early and were never able to completely recover. They will need a victory midweek in Champions League against Barcelona to hold on to this spot.

Juventus moved up in the rankings by default. While they did win over the weekend 1-0 against Fiorentina, it was more about the other team's results that caused them to move into the fourth position.

If you did not already know, Barcelona lost over the weekend and are looking to a midweek matchup against an undermanned Manchester City team to get them back on form.

All was the same for Real Madrid as they were able to beat Levante 3-0.

Unstoppable, to say the least, is Bayern Munich. But do we dare to ask, are they getting complacent?
