There's an appetizing array of matches on show this weekend, so what better way to reignite that neglected relationship with your television than by feasting your eyes on some of the fantastic fixtures ready to hit the screen? It promises to be a drama-filled few days of football. So, here's a look at the top five must-see matches coming your way.

The battle for third place is already bubbling up nicely. Should The Rossoneri trump 11th-placed Fiorentina, they'll jump ahead of Sampdoria. Keen to make it five games without a loss, Filippo Inzaghi's side are favorites to get the win as they continue to reorganize and earn back their fans' trust. However, La Viola will want to bounce back from their 2-0 home loss against Lazio and will have a trick or two up their sleeves.

There's just one more playoff spot up for grabs, and it's going right down to the wire as either the Portland Timbers or Vancouver could snatch it. Just a point separates the two teams, so it could even come down to goal difference -- a scenario that would suit Caleb Porter's charges no end. But the Canadian club have their destiny in their own hands, and that could well be the deciding factor at the end of the day.

3. Lyon vs. Marseille

Sitting pretty at the top of the table, Marseille have amassed 25 points, lost just once and are seven points clear of moneybags, Paris Saint-Germain. That's not a bad state of affairs after just 10 games. Lyon, likewise are faring rather well, and a surprise win at the weekend could see the 2012 Coupe de France winners leap into second place if other results go their way.

2. Manchester United vs. Chelsea

There are 10 points separating Manchester United from table-toppers Chelsea, but there's a growing sense of belief around Old Trafford that this Sunday's bout is one they could just win. Having regained some of their pride in recent weeks, the stars of Radamel Falcao and Angel Di Maria will be looked to. But is their defense really good enough to nullify the awesome threat of Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas? We're in for a cracking contest.
