Arsenal have won four games in succession in the Premier League, but received criticism in midweek after losing a League Cup clash with Sheffield Wednesday. Swansea City, meanwhile, had been on a five-game winless streak before earning a victory over Aston Villa last weekend. The Swans need to push on now and return to winning ways, whilst Arsenal need to keep the pressure on at the top of the table. Here are five bold predictions for the game.

After the criticism the Gunners received in midweek for losing 3-0 in the League Cup, the away team are going to come out with a point to prove at the Liberty Stadium. Arsenal are in good EPL form right now, but the Swans are not exactly full of confidence with just one win in six games. Arsenal will overwhelm Garry Monk's team early on to take a lead inside ten minutes.

Olivier Giroud has struggled for games from the start this season, with Theo Walcott taking the spot as the team's lone striker. Walcott is injured for the game with Swansea, though, so Giroud will now get the chance to reclaim his place for the long term. The Frenchman will be more motivated than usual to show Arsene Wenger just why he is still the team's No. 1 striker.

Gylfi Sigurdsson is one of the most talented players Swansea have, but the playmaker hasn't been at his best this season. The playmaker played a big role in his country, Iceland, qualifying for Euro 2016, but has struggled at club level. Sigurdsson put in a better showing against Aston Villa last week, though, and will now carry that form into the game against Arsenal by playing well and providing an assist for his team.

Alexis Sanchez has scored six goals in his last four EPL appearances, but drew a blank last time out against Everton. The Chilean has had a game off now, though, and will be back amongst the goals again at the Liberty Stadium. Sanchez will score two goals to improve his recent impressive goal ratio to eight goals in five EPL games.

On paper the game should be tough for Arsenal, but one win in six games suggests that Swansea are vulnerable right now. Arsenal will want to bounce back convincingly after the events of midweek, and will do exactly that with a decisive 3-1 away win.
