Rick Vaive
Vaive had a great NHL career, producing 788 points in 876 games. The highlights of Vaive career consists of three, back-to-back-to-back 50+ goal seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs in the early 80′s. More personally, I laughed at the fact when I read Vaive was stripped of his captaincy during the 1985/86 NHL season, for missing a morning practice. I also was fortunate enough to briefly talk to Vaive when he came to my home town of Elmira for a NHL Alumni at the Woolwich Memorial Arena.
Dave Andreychuk
Andreychuk is a Ukrainian-Canadian former professional ice hockey player who played for 6 NHL teams over his 26 year NHL career. Two career achievements of Andreychuk that I would like to mention is his 53 goal performance with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1993/94. Along with winning his first and only Stanley Cup trophy in 2004 with the Tampa Bay Lightning at the age of 40 years old.
Gary Leeman
Leeman was initially drafted as a defenseman by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1982 NHL Draft, but then converted to a winger when he started to play at the NHL level. Leeman was best known as a speedy, but gritty forward, the skills to put up huge numbers. Leeman won only one Stanley Cup when he was with the Montreal Canadiens in 1993.
