It’s been a while since we’ve had anything happen in Raptorland.
It looks like Andrea Bargnani is going to be playing for a team in Rome recently sponsored by AshleyMadison.com, a website that sets up married people for affairs, a la Tiger Woods.
Interesting to say the least, but the only reason Virtus Roma agreed to this sponsorship was so that a contract offer could be made to Bargnani.
For Bargnani, this is a good move. Playing against actual competition is always better than just working out. He realizes how much fans have been on his case about defence and rebounding, and has claimed that he will address it in the offseason.
It’s good to see that Raptors players are making the most out of the lockout, and hopefully with the extended offseason we will see a new and rejuvenated Toronto squad.
In other news, Toronto is still hunting for a GM. Ed Stefanski was recently relieved of his duties as the 76ers GM, and is believed to be the frontrunner. We will keep you posted.
