Tuesday night marks Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Miami Heat. There are a lot of interesting storylines in this series. I think we will finally see who the best player in the league really is. However, will it be LeBron James or will it be Kevin Durant?
This series will also expose Russell Westbrook more than we think. With only seven more games in the season potentially left, will he continue to have issues in the fourth quarter or will people shut up about him? I think Westbrook is what he is. He is going to take dumb shots but he is also going to make some tremendous plays. You take the good with the bad.
I am also interested to see the flop off between James Harden and Dwyane Wade. Both of these two are known for hitting the ground way too often. Watching the two on the floor at the same time is going to provide some awesome moments in flopping history.
When it comes down to it, I am going to ride with the Thunder. I just think the homecourt advantage that they have is too great. I just do not see the Heat going into OKC and stealing a game. I have OKC in 6, but it could go seven.
This means that the Heat are going to be faced with another offseason of uncertainty. Will the big three get broken up or will Miami stay the course? It sure is going to be one interesting ride.
