2012 Fantasy Football Sleepers Week 3: Michael Bush, Andy Dalton, and Andrew Hawkins

Here’s a look at the top three players for 2012 Fantasy Football Sleepers Week 3.

3. Chicago Bears Running Back Michael Bush

With Matt Forte out of the picture, Bush has the potential of posting big numbers against a St. Louis Rams team that has been known to struggle when it comes to stopping the run. Bush was one of the top offseason pickups for the Bears and even though he signed on as a backup–everybody knows he has the talent to be a No. 1 running back if needed.

He did record two touchdowns in Week 1–so don’t be surprised if he puts up similar numbers once again in Week 3.

2. Cincinnati Bengals Quarterback Andy Dalton

After struggling in Week 1, Dalton bounced back with a phenomenal performance against the Cleveland Browns in Week 2 by throwing for 318 yards to go along with three touchdowns. Dalton has a favorable matchup in Week 2 against a Washington Redskins squad that has allowed 300-yard games to Drew Brees and Sam Bradford over the first two weeks–which means Dalton should be able to do the same.

This may be a tough matchup on the road for Dalton, but A.J. Green and company should make things easier for him in the passing game.

1. Cincinnati Bengals Wide Receiver Andrew Hawkins

Last week against the Browns, Hawkins recorded his first career touchdown catch and has shown plenty of potential as an emerging wide receiver for the Bengals’ offense. Hawkins has caught 10 passes over the team’s first two games and is being considered by some as the next Wes Welker.

With a favorable matchup against a weak Redskins secondary, Hawkins could be in for another big game.
