The Alabama Crimson Tide came through with their third BCS title in four years after a 42-14 win over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Monday night. A.J. McCarron led the way for the Crimson Tide by completing 20 of 28 passes for 264 yards and four touchdowns, but it was the quarterback’s beautiful girlfriend Katherine Webb that stole the spotlight during the game.
For those of you that are unaware, Webb is the 2012 Miss Alabama who coincidentally went to school at Auburn (maybe rivals in sports CAN love one another)–which made it interesting to see her rooting for Alabama during last night’s title game. Webb was shown on screen in the first quarter sitting next to McCarron’s mother and after some interesting comments made by Brent Musburger–Webb quickly became one of the most popular girlfriends as her Twitter followers increased by 100,000+ by Tuesday morning.
McCarron, you are certainly one lucky man and you should do whatever it takes to hold on to Webb as she’s certainly a keeper. Not only did Musburger make it clear how he feels about her, but even Darnell Dockett of the Arizona Cardinals went out of his way to give Webb his number on Twitter–which McCarron wasn’t too pleased to hear about after the game as he stood up for his beloved girlfriend.
Let’s be honest–nobody is enjoying life more this lovely Tuesday than McCarron. Another National Championship and one of the most beautiful girls in the country who he gets to call his girlfriend–who wouldn’t want to be McCarron right now?
