When it comes to the best pass rushers from college football in 2012, the argument can be made that no player was more effective last season than Texas A&M‘s DaMontre Moore and the defensive end hopes to have that same impact at the pro level now that the 2013 NFL Draft is finally here. There are plenty of teams in need of help on defense and with the amount of prospects featured from this year’s class–any team would be lucky to land a player as talented as Moore.
Not only does Moore have great size for a defensive end at his height, but his speed and body build is what makes him one of the most effective pass rushers as well. Sometimes it takes rookies a little bit of time to make the adjustment to the next level, but Moore seems like the type of defensive player that has a chance to make an immediate impact.
If he can manage to work on his hand usage and ability against the pass, the sky could be the limit for Moore as a rookie next season and it will be interesting to see where he lands once the draft gets underway. As mentioned before, there are plenty of teams that could use an effective pass rusher on defense and it will be interesting to see where he lands once the draft gets underway.
The potential is certainly there for Moore to land in the first round–so keep an eye on the Texas A&M star in this year’s draft.
