Barry Bonds is a lot of things, but subtle ain’t one of them. There’s a baseball card on eBay with Bonds’ autograph and the inscription: “say to not drugs.” Could this be any more ironic?!
Look, I’m not saying Bonds took banned substances to get an advantage in home-run hitting, but if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it ain’t a blue jay! This man went up 10 shirt sizes, two and a half shoe sizes, one hat size and he grew over an inch taller in his 30′s. You can’t seriously think that was natural!
Of course, it’s absolutely hilarious now that he’s telling others to stay away from drugs and that this baseball card is going for $100,000. That’s like asking a hundred grand for an autographed bat from Carlos Quentin that reads: “violence is not the answer.” You feel me?
