On last week’s edition of Rant Off, we decided to debate the greatest NFL quarterbacks of all time and as expected–it was quite interesting to discuss.
Obviously, when it comes to the greatest quarterbacks of all time, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady are always going to find themselves in the discussion with the type of careers they’ve had. Manning has always been considered one of the greatest leaders of all time, but Brady is right up there with him as he’s led the New England Patriots to five Super Bowl appearances–three of which he won–throughout his career and there was a reason why he managed to win 76 of his first 100 starts.

When it comes to debating which of these players is the better passer–it’s always difficult to determine.
Of course, when it comes to the greatest quarterbacks, there’s other areas to focus on as well such as leadership and greatest winner. The NFL has seen plenty of great leaders over the years–which is why John Elway and Ben Roethlisberger should be listed near the top. Elway was a key factor in the Broncos winning two Super Bowls during his career and Roethlisberger has proven to be one of the most underrated quarterbacks in the league today as he’s been a key factor to the Steelers’ success on offense.
And of course, it should be no surprise to see Joe Montana and Terry Bradshaw being discussed when it comes to the top winners of all time. After debating these three topics, it was Jeric Griffin who came through as the winner this time around against Dan Parzych.
