Who Will Cleveland Cavaliers Take No. 1 in 2013 NBA Draft?

You might as well call the Cleveland Cavaliers the Boston Celtics because they’ve got the luck of the Irish. Since LeBron James split town to take his talents to South Beach three years ago, the Cavs have now won the NBA lottery twice and hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft.

Cleveland took Kyrie Irving with the first pick in 2011 and that has worked very well in starting the rebuilding process in the post-LeBron era. Now the Cavs will get another playmaker to try and duplicate what has been created by the Oklahoma City Thunder — a strong, young core.

The Cavs now have their pick of young stars like Nerlens Noel, Ben McLemore, Otto Porter or possibly even Trey Burke, which is certain to brighten the day of many weary Cleveland sports fans. Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert said Irving is “one hell of a player,” but he’s arguably more excited about this pick than the one his team won in 2011 to select the former Duke star. With a top-pick sidekick for Irving, the Cavs could kick their rebuilding process into overdrive.

But now the question everyone wants answered: who will go No. 1? Let us know who you think the Cavs should take with the first pick by commenting below!
