NCAA Will Not Suspend Johnny Manziel Because College Football Needs Him

Are you as tired of hearing about Johnny Manziel as I am? Well, get used to it because Texas A&M‘s polarizing quarterback may be in big trouble after reports surfaced Sunday that Johnny Football was paid for autographs in January while in Miami for the BCS National Championship Game. In case you’re wondering, that’s a violation of NCAA rules.

Before everybody gets burs in their saddles, let’s remember the NCAA is a joke and college football needs Manziel because he’s a media firestorm that will drive television ratings every time the Aggies take the field. So even if he did violate some rules, somebody somewhere who is pretending to be a rule-enforcer in the NCAA will find a way to keep him on the field in 2013.

So don’t talk to me about this nonsense of him entering the 2014 NFL Supplemental Draft. This crazy kid will be on the field running around like a chicken with his head cut off again this year, so get ready for more Manziel Mania.

Somewhere near the outskirts of Boston, Tim Tebow is smiling.
