Name: Sam Bradford
Team: St. Louis Rams
Position: Quarterback
Years Pro: 3
Draft stock: (Stagnant) Only the bravest of souls have the Rams competing in the treacherous NFC West this year. With that being said, Bradford is a guy who has been a victim of bad wide receivers; will that change in 2013? That’s the question that many fantasy football owners are asking themselves before drafting Bradford as a backup.
2012 fantasy impact: Bradford’s third NFL season was very much so a step in the right direction. A career-high 21 touchdowns may have solidified Bradford’s claim as him not being a draft-day bust. Even still, the Rams spent a lot of money on Bradford, who has yet to produce like they first hoped.
Best-case scenario: The Rams’ new offensive weapons treat Bradford well and his fourth year in the NFL goes down as his best to date.
Worst-case scenario: Lining up against the likes of Patrick Willis and Richard Sherman four times a year, Bradford and the Rams’ offense sputters from Week 1 on.
Where you should draft him: Going up against stout defense on a weekly basis, Bradford doesn’t exactly have a cakewalk of a schedule. With that being said, a 14th round selection on Bradford would make sense.
