Alright boys and girls, strap on your hard hats and bust out your novelty sized foam fingers, because we are about to recap the movers and shakers of this week’s Rant Sports College Football Rankings!
Making the biggest leap up our board this weekend is The U, which has emerged from ‘the land of the unranked’ (aka land of the undead) all the way into our top 15, after capitalizing on the mistakes of a turnover-prone Florida Gators team that plummeted 8 spots to #20 in our rankings.
Also taking a plunge down the rankings rabbit hole, we find last year’s National Title runner-up Notre Dame feeling a little green after succumbing to a potent Michigan attack and free-falling all the way to #22 on our list.
In the Top 5 sweet spot, you might be a little surprised by the Pac-12 love our Rant Sports analysts are feeling, however this bromance may prove to be short lived with some dangerous SEC teams waiting in the wings in the upcoming weeks.
Rounding out the bottom of our weekly standings, we have Baylor and TCU deciding to take a seat with the big boys at 24 and 25; displacing Texas and Cincinnati who were both relegated to the kiddy table after big losses away from home…and their mommies.
