Dez Bryant didn’t do a lot in Week 1 and things don’t look good for Week 2 after he suffered a foot strain in a win over the New York Giants. However, the Dallas Cowboys‘ young receiver says he’s going to play through the injury, so be cautious of starting him on your fantasy team against the Kansas City Chiefs.
It didn’t take long for Danny Amendola to find the injury report as a member of the New England Patriots; the crafty receiver suffered a groin injury in Week 1 and is doubtful to play on Thursday night against the New York Jets. You’d be wise to keep him on the bench this week.
Roddy White‘s injured ankle clearly wasn’t well in Week 1 as he was on the field, but didn’t play much. He’s even told fantasy owners not to count on him for a while, so don’t plan on him hauling in many passes in Week 2.
Chiefs fans are getting tired of seeing Jamaal Charles helped off the field, but it happened yet again on Sunday as the speedy running back left the game with a bruised quad. No one knows if Charles will play in Week 2, including him, so don’t risk it.
Reggie Bush was sensational for the Detroit Lions in Week 1, but he suffered a dislocated thumb and groin injury during the process. Everyone in the Motor City is optimistic Bush will play in Week 2, but check his status right up until game time before putting him in your lineup.
Finally, Blaine Gabbert and Jacoby Jones are both out for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Baltimore Ravens in Week 2, so make absolutely certain you don’t have them in your lineup this weekend.
