LeSean McCoy Has Injury Scare; Bryce Brown’s Chance Coming Soon

LeSean McCoy left Thursday night’s game with a rather interesting “lower right leg injury.” The Philadelphia Eagles surely can’t afford to have McCoy gone for a bulk of their season, but the better question is what is your fantasy football team going to do if McCoy is out?! Losing a marquee player like McCoy is exactly how fantasy football championships are lost, so it’s perfectly fine if you freaked out.

Thankfully, McCoy would return to the field as the halftime x-rays on his ankle came back negative. Sure, the Eagles’ running back was unscathed this time, but Chip Kelly‘s offense opens the door for all of Philadelphia’s offensive players to wind up on injured reserve. Therefore, keep an eye out for Bryce Brown in the coming weeks.

This Eagles’ running back was a highly-revered prep prospect, yet off-the-field issues landed Brown in the NCAA‘s doghouse. Moreover, Brown is an excellent option for any fantasy owner, as the fast-paced nature of the Eagles’ offensive attack is sure to land the speedy McCoy on the sidelines.
