If you saw Jimmy Graham dominate the Miami Dolphins on Monday then chances are you more than likely thought to yourself “man, he would look great on my favorite NFL team.” Well, if your team has deep enough pockets, then the red-headed superstar could be heading to an NFL stadium near you as soon as this off-season.
Although the Saints have had contract negotiations with their star tight end, Graham remains a free agent after the 2013 season. In addition, considering just how much the Saint spent on Drew Brees this past off-season, New Orleans might be forced to let its 26-year old All-Pro hit the road.
Nowadays, all of the money goes to the quarterback, but considering how long Tony Gonzalez has been in the league; it’s safe to say that any long-term deal for Graham would be a great one.
While the Saints could very likely ink Graham to a big deal in the coming weeks — as they should — it’s okay to start dreaming about your favorite NFL team swiping the best tight end in the league, because it could happen before long.
