Week 9 of the fantasy football season provided fantasy owners with a lot of fool’s gold when it comes to waiver wire pickups, so don’t bite on players who had one big day with multiple touchdowns on minimal opportunities. Jerricho Cotchery, Marlon Brown and Darrel Young are all one-week wonders that aren’t even worth a look in deeper leagues. However, these are players you should pay attention to based off their Week 9 performances:
In his second start for the Houston Texans, Case Keenum looked more like he did as the NCAA’s all-time leading passer for the Houston Cougars, throwing the ball all over the field in a near upset of the Indianapolis Colts. He’ll help Houston and your fantasy team down the stretch.

Rashad Jennings once again stepped in for an injured Darren McFadden and showed why he’s one of the best backup running backs in the league. Regardless of the severity of McFadden’s injury, Jennings is worth a roster spot because Lord knows No. 20 can’t stay healthy.
Doug Baldwin stepped up in place of Sidney Rice, who’s lost for the season. He was Russell Wilson’s favorite target on Sunday and that should remain the case for the foreseeable future. Pick Baldwin up now.
Riley Cooper’s production has been on the rise lately with Nick Foles under center and although we can’t expect three touchdowns from him every week, we can look for him to be an integral part of the Philadelphia Eagles’ offense going forward.
