Floyd Mayweather Shows Off His Automatic Mid-Range Jump Shot

As one of the best pound-for-pound boxers in the history of the sport, we already knew Floyd Mayweather was an all-around elite athlete. I still don’t think we could have guessed just how good of a basketball player he proved to be on a couple of Instagram videos he posted Wednesday.

Swish after swish, Mayweather quickly starts to resemble Richard Hamilton with a silky-smooth mid-range jump shot. The undefeated boxer, with a 47-0 career record, is just 5-foot-8 so it’s doubtful he could have ever made a career out of basketball had he pursued it over boxing. He’s as quick as they come in the ring and an incredible athlete, so who are we to doubt him? Mayweather also posted a second video of some in-game highlights, once again featuring his shooting prowess from the outside.
