Tempers flared during the 9th inning of the Texas Rangers' 7-6 win over the Houston Astros on Saturday night and both teams' managers got into it as a result.
Tempers flared during an at-bat in the top of the 9th inning of the Texas Rangers‘ 7-6 win over the Houston Astros on Saturday night when Texas second baseman Rougned Odor and Houston catcher Hank Conger exchanged words at the plate. That prompted the benches to clear and Rangers manager Jeff Banister to get in the face of Astros manager A.J. Hinch with some heated words. No punches were thrown, but a in-state rivalry was born in the AL West with the tie-breaker of this weekend’s three-game series yet to be played on Sunday.
