4 Rants to “Cleveland’s Failure To Treat Browns QB Colt ...”

  1. Rick says:

That was one of the dumbest things I’ve ever read. Not sure how I found my way onto this site.

    • Robert D. Cobb says:

      Rick,

What part was “dumb”? The part where a head coach ALLOWED a concussed QB to go back onto the field, when they violated NFL player safety rules, or the fact that I wrote was is the fact that despite my personal feelings as a Browns fan, that Harrison was simply doing what he is paid to do and the NFL is just trying to make an example of him by covering their rear ends. Please respond. Glad you took the time to read and visit our site. Thank You.

  2. LG says:

Robert, I am starting to think you may be a anti Colt McCoy/Shurmur fan. The problem wouldn’t have even existed if the head Hunter Harrison didn’t lower his helmet to try and injure McCoy. Shurmur said at his P.C. Friday the Browns examined McCoy and they cleared him to go back in (I Didn’t think he should of) Shrumur also said McCoy himself wanted to go back in. While I agree it is Shurmur’s job to protect injured players against themselves, I also think Harrison deserves at the very least a 2 game suspension. He lowered his helmet on purpose watch the freaking reply…

      LG,

I’m actually a fan of McCoy, but not a fan of Shurmur and his conservative Worst Coast Offense and his decisions in play-calling and now the move to put McCoy back in the game when he was concussed. that’s all. JH will get a suspension, but more likely a one game one instead of two.
